Wedding Violinist

Solo violin and string quartet repertoire are my specialty. I have provided beautiful music for numerous weddings in many locations and settings and have the experience you need to make certain everything runs smoothly. The music is always tailored to your special occasion whether it be classical, jazz, bluegrass, Broadway, or fiddle.

I have performed with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Hanover Chamber Orchestra, and was assistant concertmaster with the Delhi Symphony. Other credits include performing with guitar legend Phil Keaggy and solo performances in India, Russia, and the U.S. I completed my BA in Music at Middlebury College and my Masters in Music at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently I am a member of the Westmoreland Symphony and give music lessons to forty of Pittsburgh's finest young musicians.

Devin’s mastery of the violin was an elegant touch to our wedding day. While we had a Scottish-Irish themed wedding, his choice of violin pieces blended well with the overall feel of the ceremony. He accompanied Bridget’s 9 year-old cousin (and one of his students) in a few pieces, allowing her to showcase her talent without overpowering her at all.
